Oi, those of you against this forum...

I wrote this on another thread, but decided it needed it's own.... we all know you stalk here saying what a bad place this is, how about this then

One night, around 3 weeks back, I was sat on a bridge, I wrote a thread on this forum, you know this forum, the one full of people encouraging others to kill themselves.....
Well, I had PMs on this very forum that night, some of those PMs helped me through, and even though I don't know my intention on that bridge,
those PM's helped me from that bridge that night...
The support, the help, the love, strangers, in a dark place, pulled me out of mine,

this is for those who think this forum is only about encouraging ctb!

They are just searching for someone to blame. I mean it literally says that this site is a pro-choice community and not a pro-suicide community... Just because we respect someone's choice doesn't mean we encourage them.

I think OP just wanted to make a thread about their experience. It's just related to the topic.

I ain't mentioned no petition, nor am I asking anyone to get drawn in, threads repeat themselves dozens of times on this site, this though is my own personal experience, which I thought I would be allowed to document here without issue

It looks like a well orchestrated "knee jerk" reaction by parents in denial after a son or daughters ctb. This site is easy to blame. That the same end would have been attained without it goes against their need to blame someone or something.
As cited earlier, nobody will protest about the lives saved. I see many more of those than are lost.
