I have been diagnosed with OCD for years, in my case I am pure obsessive, I do not have a specific subject, I just tend to obsess, and it is really difficult for me to avoid it.
For example a few months ago I bought a fairly expensive gaming computer, when any program/game fails or does not work as I think it should do I think that I did something wrong, that I mounted it wrong, that my computer is broken etc ... and I threw myself hours and hours searching in google, when most of the time it is normal.
It is just unhealthy, years ago I took various medications for OCD, none of them really worked for me, but if I noticed quite unpleasant side effects, I don't want to take medication.
