Thank you for posting this, I'll do it tonight with a pajama's waist lace and pillow covers as padding. Tho the waist lace isn't very thin, it's about 4-6 cm long. I'll try using a USC cable if it doesn't work.

I just can't pass out no matter what I do. All I end up with are bruises around my neck and possible brain damage, which only makes me want to CTB more.

This method isnt for everyone which is why I provided warnings throughout the text. I'm sorry. I did warn of ligature marks.

You dont have brain damage btw. Brain damage happens when ur brain has like 5 minutes without oxygen or more

In the text i also did recommend to use padding and i did so too in the video.

If you don't feel confident in it i recommend just using another method tbh. Confidence in it and being certain of how it works is key.

How long does the ligature have to be? I have a really long thin rope. I don't have a ruler. Also, I watched the video and I don't get how the sock was secured around the neck.

It has to be long enough to handle comfortably and tie around the neck quickly. If it's too long then the weight of it would probably slow you down.

Use a ligature to secure the sock around the neck. The same way i tied the lace in the video, tie it on the sock to hold it in place. Don't tie it too tightly nor too loose.

Theoretically yes but it would take a lot more effort and would be more painful. Two options are either lose weight or perhaps go for hanging instead. Hanging is a better option for ppl with thicker/fatter necks tbh. Ligature strangulation is way better suited for skinny necks such as mines.

Lets say that the gargantuan pressure needed to use ligature strangulation on a fatter or thicker neck is done instead of hanging, the person would probably need to take a deep breath in because inevitably the trachea (windpipe) will be compressed and won't be able to breathe for a while. When one passes out though, the compounding lack of air and pressure on carotids + potential vagal reflex will result in death.

I actually recommend padding because since you won't fear ligature marks, you can go the extra mile with the pressure applied and thus pass out and die. It will remove that psychological barrier and not make marks on the neck which will be very suspicious.

tried this a few times the other night and didn't work for me. wrapped a pair of tights around my neck, then used a cord. also tried with a shoelace. felt light headedness and that I would almost pass out but never did. after waiting for a few minutes I just gave up.

Ive never tried helium and exit bag but i heard it's a good method.

I would say more like 3-4 minutes

It's like the length of my bed the long way. Should I make the length be from my shoulder to the tip of my longest finger or is that too long? And yes, do the video please. You secured it from the back of the neck and I didn't see a ligature for you to secure it with.

Can someone make a video link?? also how do i keep the pressure going if i tighten it? Also how do i practice over and over? Do i cut my yarn? idk

Video is a lot easier to understand and text instructions are supplementary to that

I am practicing this method since partial hanging does not seem to work for me.
I have tried it with cords and a thin rope.
The cords don't seem to be too long to go around my neck too many times.
Still I have practiced.
The rope is a decent length
But as soon as I do it I feel a lot of swelling in my head and from what I read this should not happen.
I've really practiced it a lot and I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
I put the rope or cord just under the chin.

Rather, what should I feel if I do it right? Because with all the times I have practiced I only feel a strong pressure in my head or as if it swells up a lot.
