Wow I haven't watched Norm in a long time. He really has aged which doesn't make me feel any better since he is the same age as me. The clips were funny .
Canada has produced some of the best comedians -Jim Carrey, Mike Myers, John Candy, Martin Short, Dan Aykroyd and Norm Macdonald. There are many others. Quite impressive.

It's interesting how people "understand" this as a comedy show but as soon as they face it in real life they abruptly stop understanding.

I always liked Norm. Back when Comedy Central showed comedians he was greatNorm Macdonald passed away on the 14th of this month. He was battling cancer for 9 years. Despite of this he continued to do comedy and various podcasts like it was nothing. So much so that it turns out nobody even knew he had cancer.
A real trooper, he was.

I love Norm. His passing is just another (for me) reason this world is a shitty, and getting shittier, place and I'll be glad to be out of here.
RIP Norm. Thanks for all the laughs.
(anyone not familiar with Norm might also enjoy his Burt Reynolds impersonation in the Jeopardy sketches on SNL. He was a riot. I loved that guy's comedy so so much. By all accounts he was also an incredibly nice, good person in real life. I'm glad his fight w/the bastard cancer is over and he's at peace now.)
