• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I'm posting here because it doesn't seem like this is a common method attempted. My first attempt got to around 48 hours and then I decided to stop and consider my situation a bit more. Now I'm back. I don't have any other options other than homelessness with anxieties, phobias, and unwellness. I'm hoping that water fast will be kinder than that fate. Hopefully I am gone by the end of the week. I'll post here in this thread anything that seems noteworthy and offer reports on an uncommon method.
I feel sad about it.

I'm sorry you're having to go to these lengths.

Personally, this sounds like a painful and uncomfortable method. I imagine it won't take many days for the headaches, muscle cramps and disorientation to begin.

It is very good of you to post regular updates and photos.

I wish you the best of luck and be kind to yourself if this doesn't work out.

Depending on your body weight and current water retention, your mileage is going to vary. But after 4 days of no water and no food (had already been without food for weeks at that point) I felt mostly fine, just a little weak if I walked around too much. So, be prepared if you are doing this for it to take longer than you might expect to feel noticeable effects.

Once that happens, it could be unpredictable. For me it kicked in one day while I was sitting at my computer and I just woke up on the floor. That happened several times, each time I picked myself up I'd find myself in the floor again waking up a few minutes or more later. It could be that if I'd stuck to my guns, I'd have finally passed out and went into a coma... but I don't know. I chickened out at that point and called for an ambulance.

Yeah, I'm starting so i've got almost 4 weeks left in my room before homelessness. Hopefully that's going to be enough time.
