"Things will get better if you just try"
That's one of the things people say that just makes me lose hope even more. I know they mean well, but
It's not as if I didn't try? I tried, genuinely tried to become better, convincing myself negativity is just my own illusion, that things will get better if I just keep trying.
But it's not. It's just failure after failure after failure, people promise next time will be the one but once again just failure.
"Look how far you've come", I have gone nowhere. I'm right where I started despite giving it my all.
I pushed the bike pedals harder than anyone else but I don't have wheels in the first place.
