Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I just read the article and as someone who has anxiety, that really worries me. That makes me glad I don't have a smartphone and I thank you for sharing this article. I was thinking of getting myself a smartphone, but after reading the first sentence of this article, I decided not to get one and I'll remember to "act normal" (especially in public) to avoid looking suspicious as well as the prospect of involuntary commitment or a thwarted ctb attempt because the last thing I want is to be involuntarily committed and held in a psych ward against my will. Needless to say, I wish authorities, prolifers and suicide preventionists would respect our privacy and leave us alone.

My impression was that the technique simply analyses CCTV footage with a computer to automatically detect people who are loitering at suicide locations or reappearing in suspicious patterns. I think the opening paragraph about smartphones was just a segue rather than anything relevant to the technique.
