This is my newest poem. It's about the fact that many quotes say: "The past is the past and the future is the future. Live now" but I think the past and the future are just as important as the time we have right now. You can also just enjoy the poem without a deeper meaning :)
The winter's swan
The whiteness of the snow, covering the rainbow
But instead of the usual beauties that flee,
there are other things of same beauty to see.
The glimmer of the snow next to the rivers which still flow.
To just insist on the wonders of autumn, spring and summer would be a moral bummer.
The winter may remind of old grief,
but they can also be good times, even if they are brief.
The Memories of loved ones who have gone,
can be cherished, like images of a beautiful swan.
I wonder will the time we now have, be gone in a blink?
Will they be gone faster than we think?
You should surely live your life right now, but don't forget it's normal flow.
I imagine we shouldn't forget the future and the past. Because those were the times we cherish at last.
