I just got accepted to SS.

Already, it's so incredibly welcoming and kind, to see so many individuals who I can relate to. I hope to find some peace in being surrounded by people on here, in my final 2 years of life.

I have a CTB date. It'll be in April 2022/2023, I'm not sure yet, alongside my girlfriend.

I'm excited to be able to follow all of your journeys, and maybe have someone follow mine.

I'm sorry that you all had to be here, but I'm with you. We're all in this shitty world together, surviving the best we can, until it's time for departure. <3

I have been a member of the community since it was ASH way back in the days of Usenet. That was before they cottoned onto us. It's such a unique situation and allows far more honesty because we're not scared that we won't be accepted or we'll be told we are selfish. Nobody will call the police unless you present a danger to members. Be cautious in the partners thread. Bad people find us very vulnerable and easy to manipulate. Take your time and feel free to get chatting and your secrets are safe. Soon you will have the PM service, there's the chatroom,a discord,please make use of the resources.
What happens in SS stays in SS. Everyone wants the same thing,so maintaining a safe space is crucial. Welcome. xx
