Read this first: My background on hypnotherapy

New behaviour generator/Future you/Quantum jumping method

This method is known by these 3 names and over the internet you'll find one of the variations.

You've to decide the behaviour you need, or a skill you need to install. For example, feeling upbeat and confident, or you have to stop getting upset.
  1. Sit in a comfortable position where you'll not be disturbed for next 10-15 minutes.
  2. Breathe in slowly for the count of 7, roll your eyes up and look at a point in ceiling, exhale slowly to the count of 11, and close your eyes.
  3. Tell yourself that the relaxation in your eyes is going to the top of the head and moving from your forehead, cheeks, neck, shoulder, etc to the tip of your toes.
  4. Feel this relaxation.
  5. Deepener: imagine a beautiful place in your mind, use your creativity to trick your mind into go into deeper trance. See how beautiful and comfortable this place is, with birds chirping and sun shining or whatever makes you feel comfortable, this is your own comfortable space.
  6. Feel this place for a minute or two.
  7. Now when you are ready, imagine a movie screen and in this movie screen, there's a version of you, this version of you is a future you who has achieved this solution you are looking for. See how it would be like to look at this version of you who's achieved it, see how this version of you stands, how this version handles life and situation.
  8. Enter this version of you and immerse yourself in it and feel what you would feel, hear what you'd hear, see what you'd see if you were this version of you.
  9. Immerse yourself in it for a few minutes for the subconscious mind to absorb this new pattern from future you.
  10. After you are done, say to yourself that you are going to bring back all of this to reality as you are going to count back from 1 to 5.
  11. Count back from 1 to 5 and the 5 open your eyes, feeling wide awake, refreshed and revitalised.
  12. Now, thank your subconscious mind for doing the hard work for you and tell it that, going forward, it's working for you to install this new behaviour pattern.
  13. Get back to life and do this technique atleast once everyday for 21 days ideally to get amazing results.
Word of caution: such techniques shouldn't be used if you are having clinical depression. Consult your physician before using this technique if that's the case.
