Hi, to put it simply I'm at my breaking point and I need something to distract me from the pain and boredom and find a way to punish myself. I never got into cutting as a teen, I've tried it as an adult and while it worked alright in the moment I hated the scars and aftercare needed. It the only kind of self harm I hear about and every resource I look into says some harm reduction bs like "use an ice cube" I want to hurt myself in way that doesn't involve cutting and I don't have much creativity atm to think of anything besides hitting myself.
If you don't feel comfortable sharing stuff like that I get it but please let me know any other coping mechanisms I could use that would work immediately.
