I'm attempting to ctb through partial and i wanted to do the attempt in woods nearby. Its raining season here, and i am not sure if i can get to the bus on my first try. Will leaving the rope in the woods is okay? Especially if its raining. Or will it affect the rope? I am using this kind of rope.

I don't know honestly. Why isn't it an option to just take the rope with you back home again? Better safe than sorry right?

I've left the rope at my spot and covered it with a tarpaulin and some leaves. The rope blended with the tree quite well. Strength of the rope doesn't seem to have been compromised with exposure to the weather. Held my weight on all subsequent practices.

Its to erase suspicion, i think several people has already suspicious with me carrying rope around, and keeping it in my bag wont work since my mom likes to search my bag bcs i had a bad habit of carrying many things and forget to take it out of my bag.

I understand, but leaving it out in the rain is simply a risk. I'm not saying you have to leave it in your bag, simply take it home with you and then hide it someplace else.

Water (rain) isn't a barrier, i think. But you must do it with care, everything will be slippery in a forest. It is a bad perspective, that you injure yourself before the appointed time.

I think i wont take a risk of going into the woods on a rainy days bcs its too dangerous especially if the woods is in a hill. Thank you for your concern though
