Propofol intravenously is not painful at all. You just feel a little cold as it goes to your veins and then a very pleasant feeling of falling asleep. I was administered propofol intravenously miltiple times and it's not painful at all. N from D for example is actually meant for injections not for drinking so it must not be painful either. Maybe there is some problem with your veins or incorrect administration?
