Supposedly 20 years if stored well. But you can't verify this or the true expiry when buying online.

Echoing what @upthedownescalatorr said, the shelf life can be many years, potentially. I've read that even old stock barbiturate sleeping tablets could still be lethal.

I think it depends on a number of variants like whether it's liquid or powder, whether it's still sealed, where it's stored, etc. I'm afraid I can't give an exact figure but 20 years seems like a long time though, perhaps a vacuum sealed, unopened, never-seen-the-light-of-day powder. I don't know though!

It lasts a long time if stored properly. Apparently the liquid goes a milky shade if it goes bad. If you have a vacuum sealed bottle, I wouldn't worry about it if it's kept somewhere out of the sun and cool.

The shelf life of vet N may be up to 20 years as long as it's stored in a cool dark place, and the rubber seal hasn't been opened.

It could be even longer honestly. If my life was going amazing, and someone offered me a million dollars to drink two bottles of 30 year old unopened vet N, I'd say hell no
