Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I would need to see a much larger body of evidence. N was brought before the Supreme Court with inmates arguing it was a cruel and unusual punishment. They ruled it wasn't. Not to say SCOTUS is a good source, but all the research shows it's a peaceful method. As with anything, things can go wrong, especially in the states where executions are not handled by the most talented people.

True that.

Also many executions are done in a sadistic way. One has to wonder the type of individuals who take this kind of job.

In the case of execution, pentobarbital is given intravenously. This is not the manner in which the average, non-medical suicidal individual would likely use this method.

That said, the majority of companion animals are euthanized via IV pentobarbital, and these deaths are typically both quick and peaceful.
