My time to say goodbye has arrived

I've been on SaSu about SaSu for about 6 months and it's been an amazing experience. I've learned so much about a variety of topics, and I enjoyed participating in conversations spanning a seemingly limitless range of topics. I came here searching for information about suicide, and I found a community.

My time has come to move on to the next phase of existence, whatever that may be. I've been staying in a hotel preparing for SN all day, and in just a couple more hours I'll have my last salty drink and hopefully my life will soon be over peacefully.

I don't have much else to say, but I thought it would be fitting to leave on some thoughts on life and death by a Buddhist monk:

This body is not me; I am not caught in this body, I am life without boundaries, I have never been born and I have never died. Over there the wide ocean and the sky with many galaxies All manifests from the basis of consciousness. Since beginningless time I have always been free. Birth and death are only a door through which we go in and out. Birth and death are only a game of hide-and-seek. So smile to me and take my hand and wave good-bye. I've seen this just now. Very sorry your leaving, but hope you find what your looking for. Your posts were always an inspiration for me, we shared many similarities and feelings, like crying in the car thinking of our children, the life that was promising but then at once was shattered. May your daughters be safe and strong, may your journey be pleasant, may you find peace. I will soon join you.

I feel sorry for him.....he mentioned his situation. His wife left him after 20 years....someone he had been with since his early 20s.
He has a daughter that his wife has custody of. He probably felt that the world, life, legal system, etc is against him. And in a way it is.
I can relate in my own personal life.....wife left for someone else after 5 years...then later 2nd wife cheating on me, but still married now.
Its something hard to shake off and just let go. It can mess with you....it has with me. Its one of the many reasons why I plan on ctb.
I hope he has found relief from this horrible world.
