Agreed. Having something that will store long term is also a good security measure. I feel I can cope better with the chaos of life knowing I can exit if it gets too much. I don't have to panic.

I understand why it would make you feel better. Having the SN means you have a way to leave this world when you cannot take anymore. I think for many people having a method in hand can be a relief. Lacking a way to exit this world can be a hopeless, trapped feeling. I hope you find the peace you are looking for.

Whats the usual expiration date on SN? Does it matter? I mean as long as age doesn't change much ingow it works when its time, it doesn't matter so much. But not many things keep the full potency.

Mine takes for ages to come. I don't know what will happen once it get's delivered, I'm currently fealing a mixture of things. I want to kill myself because living with constant nerve pain and a pulse of over 100 evry time I stand up, plus terrible insomnia just isn't worth it. On the other side, I don't want to kill myself immediately either, since maybe there's really some trearments out there which can cure me, even though I doubt. I'm way too tired to try all methods, so I just picked the two I heard the most success about. Already started one of those treatments with almost no significant difference. I don't trust medicine at all anyway. They can all go and fuck themselves in their ass with the vaccine needles.

I'll probably end up smiling too, because I can't wait to leave this rotten and corrupt world.

Nothing is wrong with you just because you are happy to have received your SN. It gives you something you needed to have available and now you have one less bit of small stress to cope with. That's a good thing. Besides, you are happy about something, that's what matters at least where I sit.

When stored correctly it is generally stated at having a 3 year expiration time. Sealed container in an area without extreme temperatures basically. At my job it's stored in the "barn" which is just a back room that acts as staging for deliveries in and storage as well as connecting the meat cooler/freezer with the rest of the store. Once a container is opened we place the unused portion into a foil type vacuum pack and seal it. I'm aware that residential situations may not have the option to vacuum pack their SN, however as long as exposure to air/moisture is kept to the absolute minimum it shouldn't actually need it. To clarify, we don't use a lot of SN at work. It's essentially kept around for two reasons. 1) Large orders of meat where the customer requests we use it and 2) hunters/farmers who cure their own meats.
My boss feels the way we repackage it is pointless and wants to go back to just wrapping duct tape around the lid and neck of the container after opening. Health department lady apparently had a royal fit three or four years ago when she discovered that method xD
