i agree to some extent, i think i have many traces that might put me in the spectrum but still it's so weird to hear someone close saying it... but i'll probably ctb without diagnosis, which is a bit unsettling somehow. she was talking to me about getting a job and then now she said this... and said that i don't like to be around people and that i despise everyone. i feel a bit hurt by all this, i feel like i should just buy my SN already but i'm hesitant even about this. i hate myself for all this situation i'm in so much, even though it's not entirely my fault since i didn't ask to be born but still

can anyone relate?

Your mom isn't a medical professional. Who cares if you are? Autism is very common and austic people lead happy, healthy lives.

....at least you're not in a deep state life destruction program. Count your blessings. Then, you'd really hate everyone and not want to be around people.

schizophrenia is a reason for CTB. I'm not sure autism is.

i know she isn't, but it caught my attention bc as i stated i relate to many traces. and if that's true that's not the problem itself, the problem is my entire being and the way i'm stuck in this world not wanting to be here, not fitting in anywhere. not sure you know anything about autism and the devastating consequences it has on many people's lives. also this is not a race to see who has more problems or is more affected by mental issues. i'm sure many autistic people have it hard just like many schizophrenics, for example. also you're not entitled to decide what should or shouldn't be a ''good enough'' reason for ctb'ing.

i actually have a similar experience where a teacher/counselor person (he was a psychology major) said the way i act seems like someone with asperger's... i rlly relate to how you say you're stuck in someplace you don't want to be, where you don't fit in. sometimes i feel like i'm not the same species as the other "normies" around me lmao

it's awful isn't it? also the pressure you feel to try to fit in with the normies and do things they do. I isolate myself as much as I can but can't live like this forever. I can't do this to myself, I rather ctb

Autism definitely is a good enough reason to ctb. Autism screws one up a lot. There's a reason why the suicide rate for autistic people is higher than for the general population
