I find it heartbreaking that your husband is telling you this. Devils and demons are imaginary characters from a made up story. Your husband is either seeing things, or believing he is seeing things, or simply trying to mess with you.

My aunt is a religious fanatic and told me that I am possessed for playing violent games. I once got sick of hearing this and decided to make fun of her by pretending that I was being possessed. I started to imitate convulsions and demonic voices. Then she took a cross, holy water and bible and called my grandparents and a priest on the phone and everyone started to exorcise me. This is what is wrong with Christianity and the word "demon." I was once a Christian. I was for 35 years actually, but two years ago I converted to Wicca. I finally realized how brain washed I was and was embarrassed and angry with myself. Demons exist, but not in the form that Christian's talk. They are like any other spiritual God or Goddess, but they are not all bad. Many demons have good qualities as well such as helping with chronic pain. When I was involved in that Church last year, one of the 'elders' there told me that it might be possible that the reason I'm depressed is because of my 'interaction' with a woman while at university having passed an entity on to me.

It never ceases to amaze me the depths that supposed religion will stoop to.

When my daughter was about 13 or 14 she was having big problems making friends at school, so ex wife in her ultimate wisdom got her to go to local church, the ones who do the "alpha course".

They wanted her to go on a 2 week trip, where basically they get isolated from the outside world, subjected to 12 hour a day God stuff, then have "cool rock concerts" about - well God, and etc.

I refused to let her go and was apparently the biggest twat on earth for that.

Yet many kids who came back from those kinds of things, the parents etc said a different person came back.
