I have similar fears. To me, it is terrifying that things could potentially get that bad. Overall, life scares me and more than anything I want to be free from it. It is terrible how there is no euthanasia options even for people with absolutely no quality of life. It is a horrible world we live in.

A scenario like the SCP Foundation canon "End of Death" where every part of you remains sentient and sensate after you die. Some real "I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream" horror.

Same. I've thought of that more than once. They just park you in a corner somewhere and you're fully aware, just can't ever move…

Funnily enough I spoke to someome with biid who wants to be paralyzed from the neck down and is suicidal because they aren't. I guess everyone wants their own thing

Exact same thoughts, and in my case it'd be worse because my old, sick parents would need to care for me if that happens. I've got literally no one else.

It's also closer to an impending reality than an irrational fear for me, because stroke runs in the family and I have both hypertension AND diabetes already in my 30s.

My horrifying vision is me lying on the bed paralyzed -- fully conscious, unable to call for help, slowly dying of starvation and having excreted on myself repeatedly, while parents lay in the living room (heh) where they'd died days ago.

This is also the reason I had to back out of hanging as a ctb method. I mean, why increase the chances of it happening?

This . Also my worst fear. i could get a stroke in the next 10 seconds, next hour, today , this week . And with a stroke i could become paralyzed and or brain damaged.

Could happen to anyone any day , car accident stroke are just some ways.

Even young people can get a stroke . However the probability gets even higher as one gets older much higher

Look at what happened to Christopher Reeve, Robin Williams, Terry Semel (Yahoo ceo) all 3 very sucessfull, admired, rich multi - millionaires in a moment reduced to a torture chamber. imo that's what i am a torture chamber

It's my major reason for ctb asap. Why am i taking that risk for what purpose do i have to really see that youtube video? No i don't, i see no purpose to life, certainly no social media, TV , youtube, any kind of media , all wastes of time imo
