I saw this phrase tattooed on a man once it is something I hold to my heart even when the tunnel feels so dark.

The good, the bad, they will all eventually have to pass eventually. The world has to keep turning and it will. I hope this saying can bring you all as much peace as it brings me.

Im gonna try to make myself happy with what I have, even though it probably will be temporary happiness. I know the paranoia I have about the worst case scenarios will still consumes me.

Thanks for your encouraging words. It is true that the pendulum of life will eventually swing out of a dark period. However, additionally, there are steps one can take to make the periods of light last longer and be more frequent. Initially one might take steps to exercise control and make things worse. However, even these mistakes can be useful if they help us learn what not to do.

Just getting a break from the gloom can be a good first step. Discovering what can be done to find more light can build on that step.

Funny how these sorts of things have dual meanings. To you, you reference it to temporary happiness. To me, I would probably reference it to the current inner turmoil.

It is the only certain thing in this world.

Time haunts everything we do, it haunts the good as it haunts the bad. I hate it for the first yet yearn for it because of the second.

It feels hypocritical to despise the only thing that can help me. Without it I'm not sure I would ever have left, not by choice.
