It's been months since my last attempt, back in 2025 i cut ties with my only friends, something i still hurt to this day, i went limp with the rope on my neck, passed out and faceplanted on the ground with the wardrobe i used as an anchor point over me, a terrible accident, bruised my head, i had a brain concussion, fractured my nose and lots of mental trauma, it was fucking terrifying to find me under there, alive with the rope still on my neck, each night i relive the moment

An accident i managed to mask as a workout session that went bad (i got lucky no one arrived while i was unconscious)

I have finished writing my goodbye note for my family, finished watching a few shows i wanted to see (mostly) although i can't help but feel it all has been a huge waste, i regret every day being alive since the start of the year, really, it has been nothing but anguish and pain

I found a better anchor point. the security bars of my room's window, private, sturdy, stationary, no-way-in-hell-breaks anchor point, arbor knot for me and bowline knot for the window, if you guys have a better idea for the knots let me know

I'll begin to attempt partial this weekend until i finally make it, as unreliable as partial may be it's all i have, i'll make sure i make it this time, if someone wants to talk i'll be around

Your profile says: "destined to never be loved," and I feel the same way. I don't think anyone has ever truly loved me. I hope you'll be at least a little happier, whatever your choice may be. ❤️

Yeah, human interaction is fucking hard, and some of us are just not meant to be loved, unfortunately

How unreliable is partial btw ? I tried it once and I was loosing consciousness pretty quickly .
I can't really have too many test runs as my family will notice and my plan is to go do it in a scenic place far away from home so all I can do is simulations .
I did try the night night method multiple times and that is just mega unreliable hopefully partial is better.

people say due to SI you spring back to your feet, also the syncope convulsions may also cut off the pressure on your neck partial needs for it to work, who knows, there are more full suspension videos than partial ones for a reason, i'll see how it goes

Btw there's only ONE night-night evidence video, so yeah

(nice Lain banner you got there)

If you were losing consciousness, what material were you using? I was thinking about using Night-Night these past several months, but if you were able to lose consciousness with partial then this seems like the more effective alternative for me.

I was wondering, what kind of rope were you using? I have to go with partial as well, as Night-Night is too unreliable and I don't think it's realistic to use the Nitrogen-gas method (I would have to fly to a different country and get it logistically working right which is going to cost be over 10K). I recently found a sturdy bar in my wardrobe that could support my weight (the bar doesn't seem to budge at all when I was hanging on it), so partial seems like the 'best' (I hate using this word for this context) way for me. I was recently diagnosed with oral cancer (it's on my lip but I'm sure I have it elsewhere in my mouth since I suspect it was the shisha I did back in the day) and I have benzodiazepine-induced neurological dysfunction as a cruel joke on top of the cancer. For the sake of my family and for myself I have to CTB this year as the future would look extremely bleak if I get ill further. Additionally, do you have any resources on partial that you used from here? I'm sorry that you had a failed attempt and had/have to use partial too.

A braided 5mm polypropylene rope that i tied in a way for the ligature to be 10mm thick, REALLY make sure your wardrobe in no way can sway or even fall, syncope convulsions after passing out can be very strong and that's what exactly happened to me, if possible i would highly advise you to find another anchor point, there cannot be space for failure in these situations.

i got most of my partial hanging knowledge from, this specific thread, my own testing and actual gore videos, so yeah that's that

Also i'm sorry to hear you have to go through such bullshit illnesses

Thanks for the quick response. No worries, I'm kind of numb to it by now. But I guess I might be lying to myself cause on some days I even forget that I'm in this situation.

I just have two more questions. First, how long did it take for you to pass out? I haven't attempted this method yet and I haven't researched much about it, so I don't know if my SI will kick in and I'll try to untangle myself. My SI is pretty low right now, but since I haven't tried it I don't know what would happen in that scenario. Second, how long would you ideally need to be undiscovered or alone? Again, thanks for all your help.

If you have any tips of passing out you learned from experience it would be great to know ❤️

I took 3 tries to get the sweet spot, with the rope above my adams apple, i pushed down passed out in seconds, let's say in less than 5 seconds i was out, about an hour would be more than enough, get a day with as much time alone as possible

The more weight you put on your carotid the better, so maybe dont kneel like i did, try a more upright position

Did you look forward or down? Was the rope just above the Adam's apple or higher under your jaw? Sorry if the questions are weird but I've been trying for awhile and I only get a blood rush feeling, or choking/gagging and neck pain, only got a slight ear ringing once when I pulled up on the rope with my arms but haven't gotten close to passing out. I would love to be able to figure out how to do it in 5 seconds like you, I did it for longer and had no luck :/
