• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I'm using a Reynolds Oven Turkey Bag, some elastic cord, and duct tape. I'm waiting on the cord lock to finish it.

how does this work?
I took a Reynolds plastic oven turkey bag and put a small slit at a bottom corner. Then I pulled it up on the outside and taped it to bag. Then I threaded elastic cord through it all. I'm waiting for the plastic cord lock in the mail. You pull it over your head. You use the cord lock to tight the cord so it fits snuggly around your neck. You tape the hose that dispenses the nitrogen inside the bag. You place on top if your head. You push out all the air. Then let it fill till it's full. You hyperventilate and then pull the bag over your head. Then breathe deeply.

How can we trust this method? Given that the person who wrote it was still alive to write it?

I'm just saying it feels pretty complex for some "assumption" or "theory". I suppose the author is assuming this works as intended because, well, he must be alive to write it.

Unless he tested it in other person which is weird as well.

My point is, how can this be tested?

The exit bag was developed by Phillip Nitschke and the Exit International community. For many years they have been gathering data from the community. The members of the community that used it successfully are the case studies that demonstrate it's validity. Note that Nitschke is the person that developed the Sarco, which is built on the principles of this method.
