I've always found solace in music, particularly videogame OSTs, but recently I started listening to some specific artists that I relate with on a deep level.
I'm a trans woman with severe depression, anxiety, and dysphoria that were addressed more than I thought possible in some of these artists' songs. They all also talk about death and wanting to die a(n) (un)healthy amount, so I obviously related with that aspect.
Just I thought I'd share what helps me when I'm restless, depressed, anxious, and want to die.

Three artists I was talking about above:
Black Dresses
STOMACH BOOK
McCafferty
Thanks for reading, please give them all a listen <3.

i love black dresses and stomach book!!

If you haven't heard them I'd suggest checking out Underscores! There's one song in particular that touches on being trans but I'd give it a cw for sexual abuse and grooming

(CW// SEXUAL ABUSE, GROOMING, PEDOPHILIA)

EDIT: I also really enjoy cosmic johnny because most of their songs are about the lonliness and isolation from being q**er

I can relate, our music taste might be very different, but we both think music can help one through hard times. I have always loved classical music and espacially piano music.
I think my favorite one is Elegie in E-flat minor by Rachmaninow and also played by him. It just perfectly describes how I feel.
I belive music has saved many lives and will continue to do so. Whatever song or piece comforts one, it is so special.
