How do some people get motivation to do so many things?

I have no idea. I have absolutely no motivation. There is nothing that I want to do. Everything is pointless to me. I want nothing to do with life and I just want to sleep. I know people with very productive lives and I know that I couldn't do that. They would be horrified if they suddenly had my life. I live a very empty and depressing existence.I agree. It's because they just desire the "pursuit of life". I remember that feeling but it died long ago. I have 0% NO desires or wants or motivation. I hate having my family see me like this and some of it was out of my control and naivety that brought me here.People generally have a lot of perseverance and drive when they have hope for a future they want. I know because I use to be like that and encourage others to be more optimistic. It is only after repeated traumas, disillusionments, and embarrassments that they realize what this world really is and get to the point many of us are at.

Probably because a lot of people don't view the world like we do and haven't been as suicidal/depressed as we are.I remember having motivation. It just came with having good health and a healthy mind.

Its not motivation. It's trying to give the fam as much as I can until I can't take life anymore.
I wouldn't leave or even want to leave if things were different. But if my back gets against the wall, then I'm out.Similar threads
