I consider myself fairly patient when it comes to finding the right method and executing it properly, so I'm going to go ahead and say I'd rather wait 18 months to painlessly ctb. Now if there are extenuating circumstances and what not, then it may be sooner or more rushed, but under normal circumstances, I don't mind waiting a bit as long as I know with near 100% guaranty that I will ctb at said time.
