My 2nd dog sitting client this week didn't communicate well so we discovered that we would be dog sitting Pearl till Sunday afternoon, not Saturday.
It was our plan to visit the train tracks after dog sitting Saturday.
We met a Brooke and her dog Tilda Friday, she showed interested in dog training and asked if I could bring Pearl around Saturday.
While walking Pearl and Tilda we encountered 6 other dogs in the neighborhood and Brooke was successful in having Tilda be calm and meet each one.
I also took the opportunity to introduce Pearl to all the new dogs.
It was like having a miniature dog park for a time.
It was tremendously beautiful helping everyone with dogs in the neighborhood get along.
Most people exchanged phone numbers, everyone asked for my card.
But tears poured out of our eyes on the way back to Pearl's home.
We wanted to fall asleep with Pearl and never wake up.
Why do I keep waking up?
