Meto vs Zofran w/ SN

I'm sorry if this has been answered, I've searched and have found conflicting answers. Why is Meto preferred over Zofran (Ondansetron)? (In regards to SN) Sorry if this is a repeat, but thanks for any help

Meto is preferred because it works on dopamine receptors and it also promote stomach emptying, which means you should have absorb the SN quicker.

My plan is actually to take both, mainly because I take several doses of Zofran daily anyway and I don't want to stop.

That's exactly what I thought but I've seen a few conflicting sources lately so just wanted to check in. Well with my crappy migraines hopefully I should be able to get it. I also have endless Zofran so I might take that as well (I get nervous sick anyways so that'll probably help with some light benzos)

Yeah there's a little bit of weird information going around about it, and I'm not sure what's up with that. One thing I know pretty well is antiemetics, since I have to take them daily. Occasionally I suffer from gastroparesis and my Zofran won't stop the vomiting, and that's how I got Meto.
