PPH and others say to have toast and tea 20 minutes before taking Meto. However, it would seem to be preferable to take a Meto stat dose 90 minutes beforehand if you are going to eat toast at 60 minutes before drinking N. Meto then would be absorbed faster (leave your stomach to small intestine where it is absorbed). The stomach empties slower when food is in it. Take meto, it leaves stomach, and then eat food. Any thoughts on this? Would it matter much either way?
