You can throw it out in the grass or in a field, oxygen will turn it to nitrate and it won't kill the grass.

You can keep it stored and leave it in a tub with toxic written on it and the authorities will dispose of it or you can take it to your local council waste site and they have a toxic waste bin.

It can safely be disposed of down the household drain, or outside in a patch of grass. It is environmentally safe, and converts to nitrate quickly.

I'm sure it was just a typo but make sure you weigh up 25 grams (25,000 milligrams) per pot

How do I safely dispose of the rest?

If you're not desperate to get rid of the rest, then hang onto it in case the small pots let moisture in before your CTB day, that's what I'm doing with mine (I have small air-tight pots but waiting for scales from amazon)
