Cases like this are insane statistical anomalies. 80m should be fatal 99% of the time. If you really wanna be sure, don't jump in water but jump on solid ground. Water still displaces for 1,5-3m. Solid ground doesn't displace at all which causes the G-forces to be 20x higher and they're all on the body to absord.

Even jumping isn't effective

Not for everyone.... Some don't survive. That is why people still attempt. Every method has a chance for survival.
They could be worse off than before. 🫂

BTW..... Dick move on New York Post calling the guy a nut job. 😡😡😡 They are lucky to have good lives.... I assume.
No one jumps from a bridge if they have a great life.

The nutjob name calling is such a disgrace, this guy had mental or physical problems but they will not understand in their own little magical bubble. They will only if they would experience the pain. You have to be really brave to try this method. I would be to scared of it

This kind of things do happened , in fact in japan there is even more ridicuous case recently. The man survived the jump after he landed on a woman at the landing ground. The poor eoman died instead.

NAGOYA (Kyodo) -- A woman in her 20s died early Sunday after a man apparently fell from a 12-story apartment building and landed on her in Nagoya, central Japan, police said.

Omg, that's scary... I hope it will not be trap in his body after this. The journalists are very disrespectful... Near my place, people who jump from the bridge 70 meters of Hight are all dead, no one ever survive. But every time journalists call them desperate people or crazy and focus on what rescue team did to help or find the body but never never talk about the pain of the person, their life, what bring them to do it. Always as a negative things, journalist are not neutral at all just to sell some papers.

I could be a precious information to know why he survived because 80 meters It really defies the odds. I know some people survive form highter but it's so astonishing and scary.
My method is jumping from this bridge 70 meters in water. I hope to not be the first to survive over there... But how the person from the article did not drown after the fall? Or even have cardiac rupture during the fall.

Looks like he established a new record after this guy

The conditions are not equal though, since the naked man used a mini-parachute that probably reduced the speed.

Maybe quantum immortality is real so your consciousness continues living in that statistical anomaly...
