Lost my 11 year old service dog today

Uncontrollable bleeding as a result of tumors. I love her more than anything but am thankful she was as happy as possible, given the situation, right up to the end. I always thought I would die by suicide soon after her but I am doing better and haven't had any urges yet. I am glad animals have a painless way out and hope someday every person in the USA has a painless option to exit life when it is their time. I miss you puppy and I'll love you forever.

I'm really sorry for your loss <3 Losing an animal is always hard, they become part of the family. It is true and maybe a little unfair that animal do have a painless way out, but at least your service dog didn't suffer. I wish you the best.

i am so, so sorry for your loss. she was a beautiful dog and i'm sure you made her life better each and every day you were together, as she did for you. the grief of losing a pet is unlike anything i've felt before and i hope you're taking the time to look after yourself. stay safe. <3
