Same. I actually think it feels worse to feel lonely when you're surrounded by people. At least when I'm alone, I'm more comfortable.

Yep. Pretty much. I'm used to the loneliness at this point. Things not gonna change anytime soon as far as I see it. So I just try to distract and entertain myself when I have the energy too.

Yeah I do feel lonely. I live with my family and I've friends who want to meet but I usually try to be alone because of social anxiety. I want human interaction but at the same time fear it. Feeling trapped!

I feel for everyone and am in the same boat. After I moved back to my hometown due to my health i no longer know anyone. The one supposed really good friend blew me off and didn't even have the decency to at least say something when I was in the hospital on life support for 3 days. I still don't even know why he won't talk to me anymore.

What are you going to do though. I'm sure a lot of you have lost even your best friends due to mental or physical issues. I think it says more about them than us though....so fuck them.

I do wish I had a dog though, well I do but had to leave him with my ex when I moved and dont see him anymore. At least I still get pictures and the occasional video of him which is nice. Still not the same though but I'm not in the position to be able to care for one properly so it wouldn't be fare to get one.

I've never been one to have a lot of friends, just a couple really good friends that are like family. Wasn't one for Facebook or other social media sites either, but I have to admit I'm really glad I found this site and everyone here. It's really nice to have a place where you can talk about anything and have people support and be nice to you when taking about things that you just can't mention to anyone else.

So as usual I've written way too much (which is the exact opposite of how I am irl ironically haha) and kind of went off topic. Just want to thank everyone involved and everyone here for a safe place. I'm sure I'm not the only one where this is their only outlet.

So much so that it's crushing. I watch traffic outside my window just to see people.

Used to be very lonely, not so much any more. Have to spend a lot of my time looking after myself, so it feels like getting too involved with others would be harsh on them. I think I also hold on to the notion that it is a weakness to need others.

And the physical presence of other people also frightens me, so that just complicates things. I did try to get myself worked out in therapy (body psychotherapy), but alas it doesn't easily translate into real world relationships.

I feel lonely but also like being alone and kinda dislike people. Idk. I've been isolated a good chunk of my life. Part of me wishes I had more experience with people. But, I didn't see good things from people too often. Always saw the same evil two-faced nonsense.

This is something I've reminded myself of. I'll be glad to be alone in death. I don't want to be with anybody in my last moments. Not physically, or in heart or mind.
