There is a guy from the UK on Youtube who advocates it for bipolar 2. My son takes it and it does seem to moderate the swings.
Supposedly it is much less risky that prescription lithium.I did. It worked for me for a week and was the happiest and calmest and most confident I've ever been in my life. Then my brain rebelled. The reviews on evil Amazon are really good and it's not pricey so I recommend trying it
