I seems stranger when someone has posted how shit their life is and all that has gone wrong for them and then clicking the LIKE button ,obviously it is more of an acknowledgment that we have read your post and not the fact that we LIKE the pain you are going through

I see it more as a "you aren't alone" but to each their own.

I also find it kind of awkward to "like" a deep, personal story of pain so I may just give a hug or a sad emoji.

Then again, I do "like" a lot if I can relate.
