Discussion Life isn't inherently worthful

Life is worthful only for other living beings like humans. We like to pretend it has worth and meaning beyond that by diluding ourselves into believing we are created by some sort of Divine entity sent on a mission even but that's just comfortable lies.

Controversial statement, but this is a big reason I can't stand the current major religions.

Imagine thinking the entire universe was created with you specifically in mind, and successfully convincing the majority of the population that this belief makes you humble.

It could never be to me, I just see existence itself as the most terrible mistake that just causes all this torture, cruelty and suffering all for the sake of it with no limit as to how much agony one can feel, this existence of torturous suffering just never should had been imposed at all and it's so terrible how it was, I'll always see the existence of life as the most dreadful tragedy that just tortures existing beings all for the sake of it.
