Being human sucks. As a kid, you're forced to get up early and go to school. As an adult, you're forced to go to work in order to survive. School is unpaid mental torture while jobs are barely paid slavery. And god forbid you end up having awful parents.

Society is built for morning people and extroverts and favors selfish assholes. Timid and shy people are looked down upon, are considered weak, and are often taken advantage of. In order to live within the mold to fit in society, they're the one's who need to change. They're the ones who need to toughen up. They're the ones who need to speak up and talk more, not the other way around. People tell you to just be yourself, but that's not how it works, especially if you're an introvert.

Now I see why drugs and alcohol exist. They exist to keep people going in life. It's to bribe people into continuing this rigged game called life. People become addicted to them and other stuff to cope with life. All the fun things are just distractions from reality, and they all come at a cost (literally and figuratively). For example, candy and, treats, and maybe some other things bad for your teeth may be delicious, but they ruin your teeth. They exist so dentists can make money off of people. Money is everything in life.

I read somewhere that if the mind know too much about reality, the mind wants to destroy itself. It's no wonder why genius people end up killing themselves. That, or life kills them and the good people off, but keeps the bad people. I don't know if I'm a genius or not, but I now see how this game works, and I want to quit.

Reminds me that some studies show a distinct difference between some western and asian countries when it comes to introversion. In some asian countries, introversion predicts that one will be happier and fit better into society. It is the exact opposite in western countries where extroversion is seen as desirable. I wonder how different things could have been for us if we were born in a country that was less hostile to our personality traits. Life would still be torture in school and work so i suppose it might not make so much difference

I call schools concentration camps. You're forced to learn their ways so as you get older, you're forced go to work to pay taxes so the government idiots get richer while we suffer.

I understand and I'd just personally never wish for any of this, nothing would make me wish for the suffering and cruelty of existing, I'd always prefer to not exist but of course only never existing is true perfection to me, I just wish this existence was never imposed, I see it as deeply undesirable to exist, I see human existence as the most cruel, futile burden.

I had a hamster a couple years ago named Cheeseburger, Cheese for short. He was such a nice hamster, but only lived about a year and a half before he died. If reincarnation does exist, then maybe you'll be a hamster. 🐹

Tell me about it. I'm really suffering right now. I'm shaking in terror, just because my brain chemistry decided there's a shark outside my door.

This is definitely true in Western culture, but in the East more introversion is appreciated.

Yes. Knowledge is pain. Mental illness is higher in the gifted. You can see why. You see all the patterns others don't see. And if you bring them up, they think you're insane and ostracize you or mock you or bully or this that or the other. Not that I'm gifted, but I learned from the gifted and also have spent a lot of time introspecting and extrospecting.

Survival of the Worst. I've reasoned this out. It makes sense. The most dominant creatures are the predators. The apex predators in the wilderness. Those are the ones who are top of the food chain. And the fact that the food chain exists at all shows exactly the type of world it is. On some level, we've been infected by modernity in the sense that it defanged us, told us everything should be peaceful and safe and everyone should get along, when the reality is that it's cutthroat and brutal and cruel and unusual. I was not prepared for that reality. And I want to quit the game too my friend.

Unfortunately I think the grass is always greener on the other side. In some Asian countries, introverted people who can read the room and know when to speak up, how to engage in small talk/pleasantries, and not draw excess attention to themselves are valued. It is much easier to survive as a quiet person.

However, if you are a person who has difficulties, whether you are disabled, or have a physical or mental illness, you will not have a good time. When I spent a longer period in Japan, I could see the way people often speak about disabled or mentally ill people, and it is ugly. There are many two faced people who will be quiet and pleasant during the day, but at night when the drinks come out they have no filter, and the true thoughts and feelings they've suppressed due to having to put on a mask all day will shock you.

Gaman mentality is a huge part of cultures influenced by eastern religions, and especially in Japan. The whole, keep a brave face and toughen up, permeates every aspect of society. If you have a painful condition, you're expected to smile through it, be stoic, and never complain. A person who outwardly expresses their troubles is seen as weak. So if you can keep everything bottled inside, you can fit in, but a person who struggles will never feel accepted.

I enjoy many things about the culture there, just not gaman mentality, which unfortunately is something you will encounter extensively.
