Life is like a video game. We have different skills, but we can't maximize all of these skills.
You are choosing your strengths and weaknesses. You choose and decide how you want your life to unfold, and what role you want to present in this life, what character you want to play as.
Anywhere you choose to max out, a lot of others skills are going to be a weak point for you, example :
- Your intelligence can be 10/10, but if you invest all your time and energy to maximize your intelligence, then your athletic ability may be as low as 2/10 because you sacrifice it for intelligence.
So, choose wisely and live your life at it fullest.
life doesn't start on a level playing field. In reality, some people are born with natural abilities, advantages, or opportunities that give them a head start, while others might struggle against limitations or circumstances beyond their control.
The video game analogy falls short in capturing the complexities of real life. In games, everyone starts with a similar number of skill points, and choices are more predictable. But in life, our "starting stats" are heavily influenced by genetics, upbringing, socioeconomic factors, and pure luck. Some people seem to be born with certain "skills" already maxed out—like athletic talent, musical ability, or even social charm. Others might not have such clear strengths or face significant obstacles that make it difficult to thrive.
For most people, building skills takes time, perseverance, and opportunities they may or may not have access to. While effort and determination can help us grow, they don't guarantee equal outcomes. This is one reason why life often feels unfair and why we admire those who overcome adversity—because they're achieving something even without that early boost.
Even though we might not have equal starting points, we do have the ability to shape our path to some degree. By focusing on the areas that matter most to us, we can still find purpose and satisfaction, even if the "game" is more challenging for some than others.
