Life can be a gift to some and a curse to others. It all depends on how that life develops and the owners philosophy. I know some with hellish lives that are eternal optimists. Some with better lives that are not. It is very individual and one really should not judge another's life and ability to cope with that life.

No, life is not a gift. We were all perfectly fine not existing until we were forced to live. Non existence is better than any life, as it is the complete absence of suffering. Life is an unnecessary thing. We are born into a world where there is unlimited potential for suffering, there is no limit as to how bad things can get. One of the worst parts is how we are denied a right to die. It is cruel how society expects us to suffer no matter how bad things can get.

Yes it is, but not all gifts can be outright beneficial. Just like being handed down an old vintage car. Cant fully drive it to its full else it breaks down yet repairing/restoring it to its mint condition can be a financial burden too. Therefore you are stuck with a subpar car that often breaks down or just forced to sell it to relieve yourself of the burden it comes with.
