Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Disclaimer: I'm not a proLifer and I myself want to CTB asap. However, I look at the world through a transparent lens. I'm sharing my observations for all of you. I may be wrong so please feel free to correct me.

Life is a balancing act. No human or creature in this world is living a problem free, stress free, pain free life.
Animals wake up with the fear that some predator may eat them or their kids. Predators wake up with the fear whether they'll get food to eat.
Humans, whether rich or poor or middle class, all go through different kinds of problems. Students, teachers, white collar jobs, blue collar jobs, pensioners, army men, jobless people, everyone has their own set of problems.

How we look at the problems in our life matters. If we take life too seriously, it can take a lot of load. If we just live life on the surface, life can be chill in a happy go lucky zone like the rest of the people are living.

I'm not asking not to ctb and I'm not asking to give life a chance, what I'm saying is, if you planned to ctb but can't, use this time to enjoy life while you are on this planet.

🫂❤️

Enjoy your life to the fullest while you still can on the planet

i can see what you mean but i don't agree that life is balanced at all. all people will experience many bads throughout their life, only ends when life is thwarted away in (most likely) horrible pain. this, however, doesn't mean it's balanced. there are people who have it easier purely due to constitutive luck. there are people who suffer horribly because of the qualities they never chose (like being born into a violent home or having a biologically disposed mental health condition) and some that, when compared, seemed to have not suffered at all.

the reason it isn't balanced is because they are burdened by their unique disposition while also being burdened by the same thing those who didn't experience those dispositions are burdened by, the badness of life.

Life is an act if torture. For us, at least.

I agree, life is very good to some, while not so good to the others.
Other times, it's the perspective.. i may feel that if i was in your shoes, my life would be better, similarly, someone may think, if they were in my shoes, there life would have been better..

Life can really be cruel otherwise none of us would be here.

However, what I intend to say is, till we can ctb, enjoy the life to the best possible, if it's possible

I'll tell you today's example, i had a really bad interview today..i felt upset. Then, i ordered my fav food and i was like why should let a shitty interview ruin how i feel. I don't have a method now, so why waste my time staying sad.

I know everyone's having different kind of challenges in their lives, so, the idea is to be in a happy state if possible, because sadness is not going to give us anything.

When I look back at my life, when I was happy go lucky, i never thought of ctb. I used to take life as it came. When I turned perfectionist and wanted things to be a certain way, my perception changed.
Life is an act if torture. For us, at least.
I wish i could disagree with this. But, you are 100% right. Life is an act of torture for all of us atleast.. That's why we are here..
And i wish we all could find the peace we are looking for

i'm happy to hear that you felt better even after a bad interview, i know the feeling for sure. hopefully your next one goes well

i like your point about perspective that in some sense, it's less about the experience we're having and more about how we feel about the experience. the issue, i think at least, comes from the fact that people cant really control how bummed they are, this is determined by your experience of the world. i think here we both agree.

take this example, there is a man in some Favela in Brazil, he has been homeless for as long as he can remember. he cant help himself when he gets sick and has grown comfortable sleeping on hard floors. when asked about his life, he says that he feels content, he may even report happy on a "good" day. take someone else, from America who lived majority of his life free from the worry of homelessness. due to a series of health problems, he now struggles to stay afloat and eventually succumbs to homelessness. that day he looks for a tree to hang himself on.

the point here isn't that the first man is irrational for wanting to live or that the second is irrational for wanting to die. it seems that your prior experiences influences how you feel about the same objective experience*, how burdensome it feels. this burden is the driving force that kills you.

So sweet of you 🫂❤️ i hope so next interview goes pretty well.. Indian clients grill so much .i kinda knew my fate when i learnt that the interview will be taken by an Indian client.. i still have a hope that i may get selected but god knows.. The project that she described is operations so if i don't get selected, that's gonna be good too 😂

You've given a mind blowing example there. Perfect example!!! I couldn't have expressed that this perfectly myself.

This is the exact idea that i want everyone to be exposed to, so that if the resonates with them, may be they can live the rest of the days in a happier state whenever possible.

I'll give you another example.. Initially, when i used to get scolded at home, i used to feel bad about it. After i grew up, i hear it from one ear and let it out from the other😁 and i keep myself amused in my head instead of feeling terrible as i used to feel earlier..

It's about the background music that someone plays. If you are listening to an upbeat music, you feel upbeat in a few minutes, but if you listen to a sad music, you start feeling sad.
So, no one's stopping from ctb, but until we can ctb, may be enjoy life the best you can in the given circumstances with the resources available
