Hanging is best done in full suspension mode, and it involves little by way of preparation. No wonder that a number of baby boomers are opting for this method; it is quick, clean and death is guaranteed. Short of using a pistol, it is the true grab and go method. Unlike partial suspension, there is little time to rethink full suspension; gravity takes care of that. Of course, you need privacy; when I ctb in the spring, I will wrap the rope around the main ceiling water pipe and kick away the chair. I expect some pain, but I reason with the chair kicked away, whatever discomfort I experience is, I hope, more of an afterthought. Finally, I highly recommend HannahB's authoritative account, which eliminates the guesswork surrounding this method.
