What's considered a lethal dose? I have read threads where people are saying 2g?

The "lethal" dose is far less than the PPH recommends. The recommendation is to ensure that you pass out quickly and don't suffer the consequences of ingesting a lethal poison. Taking less is not a good idea unless you want to suffer before you CTB.

The estimated lethal dose of sodium nitrite in adults is approximately 2.6g according to the wiki.

Did you vomit? If you survived ingesting the entire 40g either your SN is bad or you are superhuman.

I took some SN a few months ago and I failed and I think I measured out 2.5 grams instead of 25g? I thought 2 was the lethal dose to be fair. It wasn't 3 tablespoons more like a heaped one.

It's frightening to hear of it failing unless there was a rescue.Is taking overdose on hydroxychloroquine effective and peaceful

No I haven't I ordered distilled water but it never came and I didn't get a refund either. I dropped blood on it and it turned dark so it must of just been poor quality from storage. It took 3 months to get from Russia to U.K.

The lethal dose is really low for SN. There was a case of a nurse who died from taking around 2g of it.
The reason 25g is considered a good dose is because it's almost certain to kill you, but it's also not so much that it's difficult to drink it all.
Just to err on the side of caution I'd buy some cheap digital scales, just so I know exactly the quantity I'm dealing with.
