A former Vermont legislator and House majority leader has died with the help of a law he himself helped pass that allows the terminally ill to end their own lives, his wife said.

Willem Jewett died Jan. 12 at his home in Ripton at age 58, said his wife, Ellen McKay Jewett. He was diagnosed with mucosal melanoma over a year ago. In the days before his death, he supported changes to the 2013 law to make it easier for terminally ill people to navigate and get a prescription, VTDigger first reported.

Let this be a much needed lesson to all legislators across the world. Listen, you pathetic political horde! There will come a day where all of you will grow old and suffer with serious conditions, either terminal or non-terminal but debilitating & deteriorating. Even if you don't develop such conditions, you will naturally grow so old one day that everyday life becomes a serious pain and you will have to depend on others for even the most basic things. Don't think nature will spare you from inflicting its miseries on you just because you are a fucking politician.

Get rid of your political/religious/social indoctrination and actively take steps to get easily accessible euthanasia and assisted suicide laws passed in your country/territory. You probably will need them yourselves one day!

Thats what I was trying to say to the fixthe26 they are gunna wish there is a site like this when they get older. Exactly they will live the lives we all had to in our early 20's and 30's etc and will finally realize what we were talking about. They of course will probably try to find a way to ctb.
