Just be careful with how often you take it. I had pretty nasty withdrawals with like just a week of using it a lot. Your body builds up tolerance crazy fast.

depends where you live, i'm pretty sure it's a controlled substance in the usa but if ur in the UK you can literally just order it online, some nutrition sellers sell it as a 'nootropic'

I guess that happens with overuse of a lot of drugs. Hopefully there are some guidelines somewhere about what the threshold is that puts you into overuse. So it's never going to be a solution to anything but it might help with anxiety or just as a means of recreational escape. I wonder if there is evidence that it enhances cognition.

Alprazolam isn't illegal in the UK, neither is diazepam, lorazepam or any other benzodiazepines as far as I am aware, they are controlled substances. In fact they don't even keep them in the controlled substances safe on psych wards, I asked a nurse why not once and they weren't even aware it is a controlled substance.
yeah nah it's definitely a class C drug lol, at my pharmacy alprazolam is a CD3 or 4 drug meaning some of our employees aren't even allowed to handle it

Yes, it is a class C drug. But if it were illegal you wouldn't be able to get it on prescription, hence why it is controlled not illegal. You could say it is illegal to have it without a prescription, but alprazolam itself isn't illegal.
