• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

So I just got scammed for $70 through a phishing link and I've been dealing with some friend/family issues lately...everything just seems to keep going downhill, I can never catch a break...

anyone else currently or previously deal with being scammed?

Yeah, I have been scammed before and it sucks. Sorry to hear about your family issues and I hope everything works out for you and things get better. If you wish to talk about it I am here.

I can relate to never being able to catch a break, when you are down life kicks you more.

How did you paid? You can contact your Credit Company and inform them about scam, usually they would be able to reverse it.
If you have used any card - block it. Also check your bank statements for any unknown charges.
If you used the same password on phishing site that you use anywhere else, change it now.
Also scan you device with some antivirus as that site could be also hosting malware. Most antivirus offer 30 day trial so you can use it to scan and uninstall.

I'm sorry to hear about that, and I agree with @goomsoom here, if possible try to reverse the charges (especially for unauthorized charges), and maybe even get a new card if the old one is compromised. I hope you are able to find peace in whatever you choose to do.
