I live in a Muslim society where marriage and having children is the norm. Being gay, I can't marry, nor have any children which means that random aunts and uncles will be constantly annoying me and my parents as to why I'm not marrying. I don't want to be subjected to that for the rest of my life while I'm dying in a old home from old age, whereas, everyone else around me will have children to provide the best care. It just hurts me really deeply knowing that I'll always be the joke of the family for being different.
