Read about someone who died by hanging but was later resuscitated. Now they're completely unable to control their muscles, round the clock care, need to eat through a feeding tube... Just let the poor dude rest. He only lives because other people cannot let go.

Gets me really nervous thinking about possibility. Nearly achieving death but trapped in an immobile body. And will they understand they're alive? True hell.

I agree. It is really scary. I'm not even sure that signing a DNR protects you.

That is just so horrifying to me, I just find it so incredibly cruel how there's no acceptance towards wanting death with humans forced to suffer like that instead, I find it terrifying how there is no limit as to how much a human can suffer. All I wish for is to die in peace in a guaranteed way, I just want to simply cease existing and never exist again and the fact that I cannot just have such shows what a horrific world we exist in, to me human existence just feels like enslavement as this existence was imposed in the first place yet the option to die painlessly is denied with suffering seen as to prolong instead no matter what, it's all so hellish to me, trying to die going wrong and leading to way worse agony is exactly what I fear.

No Dr will sign a DNR for a young healthy person. I ask every year at my annual😢

The problem is the Dr have to do everything to keep you alive! It's unethical and illegal for the Dr not to. I had a class in college about organ donation and I was convinced the "universal" donar as myself they would kill off immediately so I signed up! That is so far from the truth, unfortunately.

I fear this immensely. It's just so horrifying and sadistic at how humans would rather force somebody to stay alive for as long as possible than die early and peacefully on their own volition. The only reason as to why people resort to methods like this in the first place is because there is no peaceful way out of here which is legalised. I live in a society full of people who are pro suffering and would rather have people suffer horrifically in existence than die peacefully and painlessly. It's genuinely terrifying and cruel. There's nothing beautiful about humans. Humans are definitely the worst species by far

They do not understand the fact that you are suffering. The only thought they're having is their own sadness but they never stop to consider the pain a person is going through that might cause them to CTB. When they revive/save you, they think they are doing the right thing by keeping you alive, they fully ignore the agonizing pain you are now in and put the blame on you since you tried to find a way out.

Many problems can be overcome with planning. Alone time is very important. Not being found before you have physically passed the point of revival is critical.
If you need to put off an attempt due to this, put it off until you can control your time alone.
