Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Just started reading the PPH and it traces our reaction to suicide and euthanasia back to...…….. Religion. Suicide was actually considered to be responsible in various countries, predominately Greece and surrounding civilisations.

Hopefully we are reverting back to a time when taking your own life is not seen as some selfish act of a mentally disturbed person, but the actions of rational people who just want control over their own demise.

Is crazy how fucked up most religions (like Christianity) actually are, but it's still regarded as some sort of a "moral" thing. Fuck sanctity of life dogma, life is a neutral thing at best, contingent on its contents. An evil and an absurdity at worst. I can't fathom literary forcing people to suffer. Its beyond me honestly.

Yeah actually the bible doesn't condemn suicide. Judas doesn't count because he betrayed Jesus, and thou shalt not kill was actually thou shalt not murder. It's wasn't until later on that religious leaders got together and made it a sin. But it's not bibical.
