This poor fellow was paralyzed. He said,"Fuggettaboutit!" He petitioned for medical ctb and he won! Federico Carbonid died via a machine that allowed him to self administer a lethal drug. ( N? Did he get it from D?)
Anyway he described his life as miserable,being totally reliant on others. There was an Italian Right to die organization that pled his case.
Good for Italy,tho no doubt the qualifications for medical ctb are extremely rigorous.
But its a win for the right to die at ones own choice!

Rest in peace. It is positive that more countries seem to be more accepting of assisted suicide. Being paralyzed sounds so horrifying and it would be extremely cruel to expect someone with that condition to suffer until they die from other causes. It should be legalised everywhere in my opinion, and for everyone. None of us asked for this horrible life in the first place and no one should have to resort to risky methods. I think that the right to die should always be respected
