it just feels so pointless and naive

i've sworn off suicide and have been pretty good at sticking to that. i don't know how long it's been since i made that promise to myself and to my family but i'm proud of my progress.

but with the direction the world is going, specifically my country (USA), it just feels hopeless. and i know that i should try even when there's no light at the end of the tunnel, that i should keep going even if just out of spite--but when something drastic happens, and my willpower is put to the test, am i gonna get back up after i fall down?? will i have the energy? the strength? even the physical ability?

i don't want to have hope only for it to be crushed

does this make sense to anyone else idk i don't car i just need someone to hear me

I feel you on all of that. I'm also in the US and it's bleak here. I'm not about to stick around for a war, or food lines, or anything like that. It's disgusting what's coming out about the elite and everyone's just sitting around doing nothing. It feels like you need to have a very good personal life to live for through this stuff and even then, it's really disheartening how bad it is right now.

It's like I'm torn between if we fight we can win, that we're hopeless is what the pigs in power want us to think, they want us defeated so they'll win, to humans were a mistake the world will be better off when our species evolves for the better or dies out
